Sea-Tec Marine Inc. began as a result of the desire to provide a variety of commercial diving services to the community. Through exhaustive research, founders Mark Riley and Dean Buncher found that many of the diving services that are required by local construction firms, safety forces, educational institutions, municipalities, the boating and boat racing community were either lacking, or totally non-existent in the Great Lakes region.

Recognizing these facts, and clearly understanding that their mutual skill sets, the partners founded Sea-Tec Marine Inc. in 1996 to meet the growing demand for these services. A competent and expanding staff of divers with specialized talents has propelled Sea-Tec Marine's growth. Many of our divers have served the United States Military as Underwater Demolitions Team or SEAL team members and have been decorated for valor. We are exceedingly proud of these distinctions and these men. Sea-Tec Marine Inc. has also volunteered dive rescue teams for both the Cleveland Triathlon and APBA Power Boat Racing events in Lake Erie and beyond.
