November 25, 2005Sea-Tec Marine completed its 5th year serving the YMCA's of Cuyahoga County. In spite of the fact that most of pools in the county are 40+ years old, Sea-Tec was able to clean these pools to their former glory.
Many required tile and structural repair, and Sea-Tec was able to accomplish all these tasks, on time and in most cases, under budget.
Sea-Tec also added YMCA's in Geauga and Summit Counties, with Y's in Lorain county coming this year.

November 22, 2005Sea-Tec Marine attended the Ohio School Boards Association in Columbus.
Dozens of schools from all over Ohio were represented and many, including Warren Schools, Westerville Schools, and several others committed to begin using Sea-Tec Marine services.
October 20, 2005Robin Metzka, Aquatics Director at The Ernfelt Recreation Center in Strongsville hired Sea-Tec to clean both the Competition Pool and Therapy pool at the Center for the 5th straight year. Robin reports that Sea-Tec saves her nearly $2700.00 annually.
October 13, 2005Laurie Johnson of The Splash Zone in Oberlin entrusted a Hydrascrub to Sea-Tec for the first time.
We were able to save her over $3000.00 in costs.
October 9-10, 2005Bob Pliske of the Brecksville Community Center hired Sea-Tec for 3 jobs this fall.
First, we were asked to acid wash the stainless steel gutters surrounding the pool. The chemical used is so corrosive that complete Hazmat suits were required, but the job came off without a hitch. Next, The pool was Hydrascrubbed. Then, the outdoor wading pool was filthy and Bob asked us to touch it up.
It
was spotless in just 2 Sea-Tec hours.
September 30, 2005Sea-Tec Hydrascrubs the Solon Rec Center for the first time saving Rich Parker (Facilities Manager) over $2600.00 in costs.
September 20-26, 2005Sea-Tec to the rescue!
Brook Park Recreation Director Gary Marken needed a solution to the rust that permeated the tiles of the competition pool.
Sea-Tec discovered that the rebar under the tile and concrete was rusting and the rust was bleeding through the tile.
Sea-Tec removed the old tile and concrete, coated the offending rebar with an epoxy sealant, and poured new thinset and laid new tile.
September 18-19, 2005For the 10th year, Sea-Tec Marine performed Hydrascrubs at both Berea High School and Midpark High School. Facilities Director Rick Faber was Sea-Tec's first client.
September 11, 2005Year 2 at Bedford Hts. Jimmy Dimora Recreation Center. Amy Hronek, Aquatics Manager, was concerned that paint bubbles in the interior of the pool might be scraped off by our equipment. Gladly, and as expected, Sea-Tec was able to clean the pool thoroughly without damaging the pool in any way.
August 21, 2005For the 7th straight year, Glenn Hummel of Euclid City Schools hired Sea-Tec to clean both the Mens and Womens pools at the home of former Minnesota Viking and Ohio State Buckeye, Robert Smith. Euclid Schools save over $4000.00 annually with Sea-Tec.
May 20,2005Reacting to an emergency situation, Sea-Tec went to the Chagrin Valley Athletic Club to remove Tannic Acid stains from the pools interior surfaces. A local well was used to fill the pool, and acids from the well water severely stained the pool. Sea-Tec's Hydrascrub2 technology removed the stains in just 6 hours, and gained us a customer for life. Director Jim Rosenberger was extremely grateful for Sea-Tec's ability to react quickly to this situation.
May 13, 2005For the first time, Maria McGinty of the Brooklyn Recreation Center hired Sea-Tec for a Hydrascrub of the competition pool at the Center. Maria estimated that Se-Tec saved her facility at least $3000.00 over previous years.
May 1, 2005For the 5th year, Sea-Tec Marine performed the Hydrascrub at Beachwood High School.
Buildings Manager Tom Hirsch is one of Sea-Tec's finest clients, and never misses an opportunity to tell someone about Sea-Tec. Tom has personally brought us at least a dozen clients. Thank you Tom!
April 7-8, 2005Baldwin Wallace College brought Sea-Tec Marine in to perform 2 jobs: First we were asked to Hydrascub the pool which was performed on the 7th. On the 8th, Sea-Tec was tasked with replacing the electrolysis rods under the moveable floor which keep the hydraulics that raise and lower the floor from rusting. n previous years, B-W had always drained the pool and hired a representative from Moveable Floor Systems to come from Buffalo, NY to change the rods. Sea-Tec changed the rods in less than an hour and saved Baldwin-Wallace College over $4000.00!
March 12, 2005For the first time, Sea-Tec scrubbed both the competition and therapy pools for Rudy Schere at Lifeworks of Southwest General Health Center. Severe algae stains permeated the pools marsite surface, but Sea-Tec's Hydrascrub2 technology removed the stains and made the pool look like new. Sea-Tec saved Rudy almost $2000.00 and kept his pool open instead of shutting it down for 2 weeks for cleaning.
February 9, 2005Divers from Sea-Tec Marine completed the Hydrascrub of the lap and therapy pools at the EMH Center for Rehabilitation in Avon, Ohio. Building Supervisor Bill Wilms is so pleased with Sea-Tec's service that he is having us back for a 7th year. Bill tells us that we are the only ones able to clean the pool so thoroughly.
